Sledding fun with our friends from the "Swabian Alb"

It took her a bit to love the sledding - but then she wanted more and faster!

Winter vacation Berlin, Island of Ruegen and Saxony

Ronja had a good week on our roadtrip north - stops in

1) Leipzig (St. Nicholas day with Anton)

2) Berlin (at Grandma's Imme with the kids musical show behind the scene),

3) the Island of Ruegen (enjoying the wellness part of our hotel, riding on an old steam train and seeing the icy Baltic Sea) and

4) Saxony - Erzgebirge while staying in a real castle, checking out the christmas markets and biggest nutcrackers in the world - with tons and tons of snow...

St. Nicholas Day

For the first time on St. Nicholas day Ronja and her friend Anton met the "real" one. Both of them were very impressed and promised to be good kids - Ronja even managed to say her little rhyme for St. Nicholas. But she did not want to hug him at all ;-) The gift and esp. the chocolate were very welcome in the end - thank you St. (Pu :-)) Nicholas for coming to our house!

The life of a 2 year old...

...means fun fun fun - playing doctor, enjoy bathtime and a sunday brunch with her friend under the table of the buffet!

Playdate with Emma

What a beautiful Sunday morning - warm temperatures in mid November and a perfect playdate with Emma. Ronja shared even her bike with her and in the end the two of them had a final baby-chino in a cozy coffee house together ;-)

Laterne - Laterne....

A wonderful German tradition - having a lantern parade for St. Martin. Ronja joined this event in Stuttgart - following St. Martin on his horse with hundreds of other kids. Luckily we had the stroller with us, because she did not make the whole route - she was definitely tired from the afternoon shopping for some ski gear ;-)

Winter Weekend in Austria with Emma and Tessa

What a fun weekend in the alps - 18 adults to entertain Ronja, Emma and Tessa. Reading books, playing on the floor of the 500 year old hut, wintery walks in the mountains and even have a sleding "competition" Team Switzerland against Team Germany ;-) - all 3 kids were winners and in the end pasta please ;-)
