Snow Snow Snow

Today we went to the Mangold-Family for a short visit in the snow - they live 35miles away but have triple the amount of snow. So Ronja could go a little sledding (which she did not like that much) and had the opportunity to meet 2year old Luca and his 4month old baby brother Niklas.
Thanks for the nice afternoon!

Recently in the petting zoo

Did we mention that Ronja loves animals ;-)
The other day we visited a petting zoo - Ronja liked the donkey a lot and after a while she figured that the bucket with popcorn is not only supposed for the animals - Yammy....

Ronja's new car

Ronja and her mother got a new car - the little Smart gives the opportunity to hold hands while driving.....
and the co-pilot has a lot of enthusiasm for the things on the road (truck - more truck ;-) )....and sometimes the race car stops at a playground for some time in the snow or at the swing.

Ronja's first big snow in Germany

Finally we got several inches of snow today. So we could do a first winter adventure with Ronja. But she was not that much convinced to run around and fall in the white stuff - so we basically carried her around. And with lots of love her visitors (Uncle Kai and son Kevin - thanks for coming!) build a tiny snowman and entertained her with a lot of snowballs.

...she definitely enjoyed the indoor part of the day a lot more (dinner at a Spanish restaurant in Esslingen and reading books with her visitors)

Ronja's new town

Esslingen is a pretty medival town - and Ronja loves to push her own "brum brum" thru the parks and streets. She dosn't mind the cold at all.
The town has 100.000 inhabitants and is just a 15min drive to Stuttgart (our old home town with around 600.000 people).

Ronja's second christmas

In a last minute decision we bought a christmas tree for our camping-style christmas 2009.
Ronja was taller then the tree, but she like the whole thing a lot. So we had a relaxed christmas eve with lots of gift for her.

On christmas day she figured out how to pose in front of a big christmas tree at her great aunts house - and the picture shows her great grandma (91 years old holding her), grandma and mama altogether. She even found a piano and definitely loved the idea of making music - or should we call it noise?
