Mountainbiking!

She can barely reach the pedals...so we fixed them in a horizontal position and then we took off - Mountainbiking is Ronja's new love! ...and her daddy has the nice job of pulling her ;-)
First we thought about a little trip to the playground - but with several stops we spent a whole afternoon with the new bike - and even checked out a few trails! Daddy and daughter are more then happy.

My first ponyride

Another first time - in our neighborhood is a little farm where you can go for a pony ride over the fields - Ronja loved it - though the pony called Chad was a bit slow ;-) - she asked already if she could go on a bigger horse and get a real lesson...

Ronja's first run ever!

She just turned 3 - and now did her first official race. Ronja successfully finished her Bambini-Run (with over 130 other girls) over a distance of 400m (quarter mile). First she was not sure about the whole thing so we stayed at the end of the pack - but then she ran nearly all of it by herself (5yards walk on Mama's hip - the she shouted: Jogging again!)...and was definitely super proud of her medal and certificate! Congratulations little girl!

My first ballet class with Grandma

Having a grandma who is a professor for ballet is awesome - unfortunately she lives in Berlin (6h drive) - but for her 3rd birthday she got her first exclusive lesson - and you might guess: she loved it!

Paris - two day short visit

After the day in Disneyland we continued our trip to Paris with some sightseeing - via boat on the Seine from Notre Dame to the Eifel Tour (we did not go on top - the crowds were incredible and a few hours wait in the heat (30 Celsius) not worth it - so Ronja enjoyed her big icecream under the the tower and run around at the view point. She loved our treasure hunt to the Mona Lisa in the Louvre (and later dicovered the famous face on a lot of tourist shops ;-) ) - btw see the crowd in front of the picture - it was not that hard to find :-)

The second day she did not want to have her stroller and ran instead up to the hill of Sacre Coeur - where she was obviously exhausted in the heat...so a splash in the fountain of Saint Michel was more then welcome and the big bubble maker at Centre Pompidou lots of fun...
Two exiting and exhausting days - she slept the whole 6 hours on our drive back!

Visiting Disneyland Paris

Not as good as the original in the US - not a Mickey Mouse house to meet the star - but a huge experience for our little one. Besides the crowds Ronja had a blast on a sunny day in Disneyland Paris (including finally driving her own car, meeting Goofy - a Mickey that only waved for her and much more).
