Happy Easter!

What a Easter day - in the morning Ronja hunted her easter eggs in the woods - and she had a blast :-) including a long family time at the playground - and later she really enjoyed that chocolate bunny...Happy Easter everyone!

Afterwork fun

Thanks to the warmer weather and the longer days we can enjoy nice afterwork trips with the bike to the trampolin and playground together - Ronja loves to bike the neighborhood and discover new and silly ways of jumping (with and without helmet :-) )

Spring on a Swing

Ronja loves to swing - this season on a "big" one - as high as possible please - she is definitely becoming a big girl now (no more pacifier, no more diapers and a lot of temper tantrums - I WANT...)

Ski Weekend in Austria - Ronja loves skiing!

For the second time Ronja joined the Detroit Expat Ski Weekend in Austria - and she hit the slopes too!

So in between the playing with Tessa and Anton (as well as all the other adults - thank you for entertaining and playing the little one ;-) )she was all about skiing - rain or shine....her favorite run was thru the muggles and her final run was the big Papageno, including a short adventures thru the woods....(after using a gondola lift for the first time - going thru the clouds and discover the sunshine and a cozy place for lunch including music to dance to at top of the mountain)

Bahn frei - Kartoffelbrei! Or my first ski vacation in France!

What a week for Ronja - the ski trip with 17 adults, baby Lean and her girlfriend Emma was packed with adventures. Cooking, bathing, sleding and her first skiing - Bahn frei Kartoffelbrei (out of my way...) - she hesitated a bit in the beginning, but then she even explained the 20month old Emma how skiing works and insisted to go uphill with the chairlift and down the big slope with her parents. Next question: Mama I want to snowboard - I know how it works....

Christmas fun!

This year Ronja had a perfect christmas - Santa brought her a little store as well as skis - so after shopping (her store is a busy place!) she went outside to try out the new winter sport! It snowed for 2 days non stop, so it was a perfect white christmas - including a winter walk with the grandparents.
