Castle, Park and Fairy tales - Bluehendes Barock

What a fun trip on a perfect summer day: in this park you find little houses that tell you the story of different fairy tales with animated puppets - surrounded by a beautiful castle, amazing plants and little boat rides in between. Surely Ronja loved the trip - and had to check out everything - her nose was sometimes flat and some stories she insisted to hear 3 times ...even though the trip thru the whale tummy (Pinnoccio) was a bit scary ;-) - instead we inflated her own whale swimming pool on our new balcony - summer is here!

Spring festival - fun fair!

This year Ronja was looking so much forward to the spring festival - and surely she got her pony ride, real German food (pig leg) and a ride in the huge ferris wheel! What fun - the ghost ride was still to scary but she was fascinated by the "moving" decoration and a talking giant gorilla in front of it....

And the poor bunny mascot got really loved from our little one ;-)

Happy Easter!

What a Easter day - in the morning Ronja hunted her easter eggs in the woods - and she had a blast :-) including a long family time at the playground - and later she really enjoyed that chocolate bunny...Happy Easter everyone!

Afterwork fun

Thanks to the warmer weather and the longer days we can enjoy nice afterwork trips with the bike to the trampolin and playground together - Ronja loves to bike the neighborhood and discover new and silly ways of jumping (with and without helmet :-) )

Spring on a Swing

Ronja loves to swing - this season on a "big" one - as high as possible please - she is definitely becoming a big girl now (no more pacifier, no more diapers and a lot of temper tantrums - I WANT...)

Ski Weekend in Austria - Ronja loves skiing!

For the second time Ronja joined the Detroit Expat Ski Weekend in Austria - and she hit the slopes too!

So in between the playing with Tessa and Anton (as well as all the other adults - thank you for entertaining and playing the little one ;-) )she was all about skiing - rain or shine....her favorite run was thru the muggles and her final run was the big Papageno, including a short adventures thru the woods....(after using a gondola lift for the first time - going thru the clouds and discover the sunshine and a cozy place for lunch including music to dance to at top of the mountain)
