Thailand - 3 weeks of traveling and fun

There were many ways to travel for Ronja in the last 3 weeks - by plane to Thailand (with really good meals), by boat on the river in Bangkok and ferry to the island of Ko Phangan, by Tuk Tuk (which she loved),

by the local way to go: scooter while standing in the front and helping her dad to drive ;-)

...in all kind of taxis (definitely without car seats...)

by train - overnight to the south - with beds and very green curtains to hide...

...sometimes she walked (along the beach) or even hiked up to a lookout point thru the jungle...and a lot of the time she got carried by her mother!

Another weekend - another castle to conquer - this time with the bike all the way up to the "Teck" - Daddy really had to work hard but the view was worth it :-)

Farewell from "Sternchen" Daycare

Time to say goodbye - with lots of hugs! After over 1.5 years in her daycare "Sternchen" Ronja left for Kindergarden. She really had a blast at her last day with her best friends Helena and Valentin and her favorite teacher Marina. From now on she calls herself a big girl and joins the "Gluehwuermchen" (fireflies) just next to my work - less driving for mama every day - hurray!

Guest from the Swabian Alb

It has been half a year - after the winter fun - that we finally met again. Our visitors from the Swabian Alb brought some boy power into Ronja's life and the overnight stay was great. Thanks for visiting us!

Bike trip to the TV tower

Ronja can see the TV tower every night (and calls it light house) before going to bed from her window - and she wanted to get on top of it. So we biked down our hill across the valley and all the way up to it. When we finally reached the top, a big thunderstorm chased us down again....but it was a beautiful view and we could even spot our house - though we got a bit wet...

Convertible and Castle afternoon

Finally we got some sunshine so we could get the convertible out of the garage - and enjoy a ride to the nearby mountain range including some ruins of a real castle - perfect summer afternoon!
